1. 01

   agreement

   By using chayknbayk.com or downloading or buying anything from it, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. You must be at least 13, and old enough to enter a contract where you live (or have a parent or guardian's permission) to buy.

2. 02

   free loops: license

   Free loops are licensed, not sold. When you download one, you agree to these rules:

   1. 01 credit. Credit "chayknbayk" on every release that uses a loop — streaming metadata, YouTube description, and anywhere producers are listed.
   2. 02 split. Creating with the loops is free. If a song using a loop is officially released, chayknbayk receives a split: 50% of the producer share of publishing, plus master points agreed before release.
   3. 03 beat sales. You can sell non-exclusive leases of beats that use a loop. Exclusive sales and placements with a label or major artist need written clearance first.
   4. 04 notice. Email business@chayknbayk.com before the release date with the song title, artist, release date and the loop used, so splits can be registered.
   5. 05 restrictions. Don't resell, repackage or redistribute the loops (raw or chopped) as samples or kits. Don't register the loops alone with Content ID. Don't use them to train AI models.

   We keep a record of each download and the terms accepted, so splits can be confirmed when a song releases.

3. 03

   purchases and pricing

   Prices shown on the site are the total you pay for the item; there are no hidden or added mandatory fees. Sales tax or VAT, where it applies to your location, is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.

   Payments are handled by our payment provider (Stripe), which may act as the seller of record for your purchase. Your receipt comes from them and shows chayknbayk as the merchant name.

4. 04

   delivery

   Products are delivered digitally. After payment you'll get a download link by email. Links expire for security, but you can get fresh ones any time from “my purchases” using the same email. Please keep your own backup of files you buy.

5. 05

   refunds

   Because digital files can't be returned, purchases are final once downloaded, except that we will refund you if:

   • a file is broken or doesn't match its description, and we can't fix it;
   • you were charged twice for the same item by mistake; or
   • you haven't downloaded the item yet and ask within 14 days of purchase.

   To ask for a refund, email business@chayknbayk.com within 30 days of purchase with your order email and what went wrong. This doesn't limit any rights you have under consumer law.

6. 06

   paid products: license

   Unless a product page states different terms (for example, beat leases or exclusives), buying a pack or plugin gives you a personal, non-exclusive, worldwide license to:

   • use the sounds inside your own music and productions, including commercially released ones, without further fees;
   • install plugins on computers you own or control.

   You may not:

   • resell, share, give away or upload the files, whether raw, chopped or repackaged, as samples, kits, presets or loops;
   • register the sounds alone (outside a finished song) with Content ID or similar systems;
   • share license keys or bypass plugin copy protection, or reverse-engineer plugins;
   • use the files to train AI models.

   We keep all rights not expressly given to you. Breaking these terms ends your license.

7. 07

   ownership

   All loops, beats, sounds, plugins, artwork and site content belong to chayknbayk and are protected by copyright. The license sections above are the only rights you get.

8. 08

   using the site

   Don't attack, overload or try to break into the site; don't scrape it or download in bulk with automated tools; and don't share your personal download links. We may block access or cancel licenses for abuse.

9. 09

   no warranty

   Products and the site are provided “as is”. We work hard to make sure files and plugins work as described, but we can't promise they'll be error-free or work with every system. Check plugin system requirements before buying.

10. 10

    limit of liability

    To the extent the law allows, chayknbayk isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product involved. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

11. 11

    governing law

    These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and applicable US federal law. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located in California, unless your local consumer law says otherwise.

12. 12

    changes

    We may update these terms. The version in effect when you downloaded or bought something applies to that item.
